こんにちは！かねきよです。日本ではお世話になった方へお中元やお歳暮を贈るという習慣がありますが、みなさんのまわりはいかがでしょうか？私自身、個人的にはお中元やお歳暮を贈るということはあまりなく、実家の母から夫の実家へ贈る品物の相談電話がかかってくると、「もうそんな時期か…」と思うことで触れるくらいの関わりの薄い習慣です。

mgnのお中元・お歳暮制度

しかしmgnでは、8月にはお中元12月にはお歳暮という名目で好きなものを届けてもらえる、というありがたい制度(文化？)があります。これは「私たちがmgnで働けているのは、自分とその周りで支えてくれる人のおかげである」という考えから始まったもので、自分が好きなものというよりは自分も含めた家族やパートナー、同居しているまたは遠方に住む両親・兄弟などが喜ぶものを選ぶというイメージです。その時期が来ると、「欲しいものを記入してください！」というアナウンスがあり、指定のネットショッピングモールの中からそれぞれ自分で選んでそのURLを共有します。金額の上限はその時によって違いますが、お中元は5,000円、お歳暮は10,000円ということが多かったです。

我が家は肉〜

いつも何にしようか迷うのですが、うちは子どもたちが好きなハンバーグの詰め合わせやローストビーフなど、普段自分では買うのを躊躇するようなちょっとお高めの食品にしています。子どもたちのテンションが上がるもの、ということで考えるとだいたいお肉類が多いです。なかなかコレ！というものが見つからない時は、皆さんが書き込んだものを見てマネさせていただくこともありす。この記事を書くにあたり今までどんなものを頼んでいたかを見返してみたところ、プレミアムハンバーグ、黒毛和牛ローストビーフ、お刺身サーモン、厚切り牛タン、イベリコ豚のトントロ、鎌倉ハムギフトセット、和牛切り落とし、といったラインナップ。とにかく肉肉肉でした！

3度美味しい年2回の嬉しい制度

選んでいる時は、悩みながらも家族が喜びそうな(そして夕飯準備が楽になる！！)ものを想像しながら嬉しい気持ちになり、そして届いた時も、またそれを食卓に出す時もテンションが上がるという3度美味しい年2回のお中元・お歳暮制度。

みんなの欲しいものが書かれたスプレッドシートを見るのも楽しくて、うちは肉ばかりですが海鮮系だったり、飼っている猫ちゃんが喜びそうなものもあったり、次はコレにしてみようかなとワクワクしながら眺めています。忙しい中でも少し心がほっこりする時間を持つことができるので、これからもずっと続いて欲しいなと思っています。
